For a Happy Halloween, follow these TIPS and TRICKS:

  • Wear costumes that fit securely and are labeled flame resistant.

  • Don’t go trick-or-treating alone—always go with a group.

  • Bring a flashlight and add reflective tape to your bag so you’re visible to drivers.

  • Walk on sidewalks and use crosswalks when available. Don’t walk across people’s yards.

  • Visit people’s houses that you know. Don’t go to or in a stranger’s house.

  • Only eat candy that is properly wrapped and has been examined by an adult.
