Gerald Herz’s practice is concentrated on workers’ compensation claims and disability claims for professional athletes. He is a published author on workers’ compensation and how it applies to professional athletes. Mr. Herz has tried jury trials in state and federal courts in Maryland and Washington, D.C. He argued cases in the appellate courts in Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia—resulting in reported decisions in Washington, D.C. and Virginia. Mr. Herz has also tried numerous cases before the Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commissions.
